The location of the hotel is excellent, right opposite the sea. You can easily access the train station and explore both Mataro beach and Barcelona for a fun-filled day and nightlife experience.

There is one aspect of the hotel that may not meet your expectations. .

I like very much the dinners and service in the hotel restaurant. The dinner includes salad, mean meal and dessert with wine bread and water and costs only 15 euro during working days. In weekends the price is 26€. The price for the breakfast was also reasonable (6,5€), though it was simple and every day the same. There is a nice and clean swimming pool in outside. The hotel is very nicely decorated in inside.

The bathroom facilities – we were three persons and stayed in the hotel for seven nights. During this whole period for all of us we got only 2 bath.caps, 2 small solid soaps, and there was only one liquid soap as a shampoo and bathing gel, which was not renewed. Hairdryer was very bad one, the bad lines were not changed. On the day of arrival, at the reception we were told that on weekends the dinners cost 26€, however on Saturday there is a party with the life music and dances and for the people who stay in the hotel, this 26€ includes also the participation in the party as well (for people from outside the price is 40€). However, when on Saturday we wanted to participate in the party we were told that all places in the party room were already reserved by the other people, and there is no more free place. The hotel was close to the see, however the beach for the swimming is in a 1km distance from the hotel (15-20 minutes walk). There is no public transport between the hotel and railway station/city and the distance is 2km. So, one need to take a taxi or to go by foot to get to the hotel. There is only a very small park in the behind of the hotel around the swimming pool. Motorway and railway is in front of the hotel, and for this reason especially in rooms with sea viewing it is very noisy even at nights.

Great location between Barcelona and the more touristy areas of Costa Brava. Very comfortable setting. Good restaurant.

The tennis court no longer exists (converted to padel). The spa tub at the pool was cold. Wifi is not reliable.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impressive, and the hotel facilities were great. The parking was convenient, making it easy for me to have my own transportation. The location, right off a dual carriageway, was perfect for exploring both the beautiful Mataro beach and bustling Barcelona. I loved being able to relax on the beach during the day and enjoy the vibrant nightlife in Barcelona. The transportation options were excellent, with the train system making it easy to get around and explore different areas. Additionally, the staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

Hotel very clean, maids work hard.The ambiance inside the hotel is very interesting.The evening meal in the resturant is good value at 15euro's for three course, The staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast you have to help yourself, cold meats, fruit, toast etc.

Please note if traveling with young children, the resturant does not open untill 8pm. No cafe or bars near by. The location of this hotel makes it difficult to get about, would recommend hiring a car.The hotel is lovely but my opinion not suitable for children.

We loved the spaciousness of our room and huge deck patio overlooking the ocean on the 5th floor. The layout of the modern room was creative too. The ocean breeze and sound of the waves was relaxing. The included breakfast had a variety of dishes and was good.

The elevator car to the fifth floor couldn't hold the luggage cart and a person. The hours for food service were very odd and the service in the bar was spotty depending upon who you got. The "Laundry" icon did not mean self-service laundry available, but was for expensive send-out laundry. On Easter weekend with a full hotel we did not have hot water for showering, but they made an adjustment in our bill, to their credit.

Excellent staff, we felt very welcomed, they are very helpful. We had fantastic sea view from our room and air con is absolutely crucial if you are staying during hot months. There is swimming pool - if the weather is stormy and you can't stay on the beach this is great option to spend relaxing day. There is internet as well - free of charge.

Breakfast, lack of any food apart from formal restaurant.On arrival was sent to the bar for food. Door was locked. After about 40 minutes going backwards and fowards finally managed to purchase packet of crisps. At breakfast had to call waiter by remote bell to request croissants/buns. He brought some stale ones. Tried to complain at reception but they were not interested and charged. The fresh fruit is from a tin and the coffee is nescafe instant. Hotel should not be classified as 3 star.

The hotel was very traditional with very friendly staff. Food in restaurant was gorgeous and good value. Breakfast was fab.

Please be aware that this hotel is located outside of Mataro and so transport would be recommended as no buses. Also you will need to know some Spanish as it is spanish resort with few English guests.

Great Hotel. We liked everything in this hotel. First it seems to be a little bit far from the city but it is just 15-20 minute walking distance from Mataro city center and train station and in fact the hotel's location is great. Also we enjoyed balcony's with seaside view and jakuzzi and pool. Very helpful hotel receiption staff and general manager. Definetly recommended.

The room window was to the sea. That was exalent. And the double room bed was one!!!

Before the visit we did not know how to got to the hotel by foot or by bus.
